I believe in your strengths and admire the courage it takes to reach out for support. I trust the value of a therapeutic relationship.

I prioritize creating a safe, open and welcoming space with all of my clients.

Effective counseling is a collaboration. Together, we will have the opportunity to explore various techniques including embodied mindfulness, sensory awareness, somatic storytelling, expressive arts, play and internal family systems theory (among others).

I use a person centered approach and choice-based trauma-informed practices.

All of you are welcome here.

I am a registered clinical counselor (RCC) with a private practice in Squamish, BC. I work with children/youth and offer parenting support as well as therapy with adults.

Prior to working as a Clinical Counselor, I spent a decade supporting women and children in the PEACE program at the Howe Sound Women’s Centre. In conjunction with my private counseling practice, I currently support the anti-violence sector through PEACE program curriculum development for BCSTH (BC Society of Transition Houses), and am one of three facilitators for Women’s Shelter Canada, facilitating nation-wide, online trainings for anti-violence workers across Canada looking to better support mother's and children who have been victims of domestic violence.

I integrate the powers of embodiment, silence & creativity as a way to encourage you to source from within to find meaning & nourishment in your lives.

As an educator and a counselor, I hold space for the healthy navigation of real-life issues such as empowerment, self-care, separation & divorce, grief, anxiety, depression, neuro-diversity & school related challenges.

If you have any questions regarding my therapeutic approach and/or what a session may look like, feel free to contact me via email to set-up a complimentary 15 minute phone appointment to determine if it may be a good fit for you or your children.
